Play at the Estate
Who said play is just for kids? Lakewood Estate emulates the charm of the country, saturated in nature and privacy. Well beyond the farmhouse doors and expansive grounds, a playground of over 200 preserved acres awaits… yours to enjoy and explore. The gift of fresh air and open space is abundant; offering countless ways to decompress and re-connect.
Tennis
Play a game of tennis on the estate’s own tennis court. Our vacation home offers rackets and balls for Estate guests upon request.
Hiking
Access to the Aqueduct Historic Trail is available from Quaker Bridge Road. The path is a beautiful, wooded, trail leading to Croton Dam. It is about an hour round trip. Additionally, Thompson’s Cider Mill is less than 3 miles from the estate on Apple Bee Farm Road. The Teatown Nature Preserve is adjacent to Thompson’s Cider Mill; with access to the Teatown trails. An Estate guest favorite is a simple hike around Teatown Lake.
